Doom Movie Online Petition?
The Doom movie has warped into a fairy tale about SWAT-teams and mutants. Making big parts of the Doom community let out howling screams of agony and pain. DMOP has taken action to let the community give a shout out to Hollywood how they feel by signing a petition.
The Goal
Production of the Doom movie has already started, so instead of changing the movie you sign DMOP as a protest.
"This petition is here instead to make a point to Hollywood and all other movie producers: The Gaming Community is sick of seeing great and popular games being rubbished on the big screen and we will no longer tolerate or pay to see these movies." - DMOP homepage
Doom movie
"Borrowed" from the DMOP homepage:
a) Taking place on an unknown planet. (ie: No Mars)
b) Having nothing to do with Hell, instead having the monsters and zombies origin being the result of a virus.
c) Supposedly involving S.W.A.T. Team members instead of Space Marines.
d) Several minor issues, such as the BFG (Big F*ing Gun) now renamed to "Bio Force Gun." As well as all the great DooM Hellspawn such as the Pinky Demon, the Baron of Hell and several others being played by Human characters, and given uncreative names like "Pinky" and "Goat" and "Baron."
